Expert. Researcher. Advisor.
As a medical doctor, researcher, founder, and consultant, my diverse career path equips me with the unique blend of medical and scientific expertise, business insights, and strategic acumen. For over a decade, I have worked internationally to address the gender health gap by conducting research and leveraging technology to develop innovative, evidence-based solutions for women's health challenges.
In 2024 and 2025, I co-founded two professional FemTech communities in Ukraine and Germany to foster knowledge-sharing, raise awareness, and drive innovation and research in women's health across Europe. Additionally, I have been an active member and chair in several global and women's health networks, including the UNESCO Global Partnership Forum on Comprehensive Sexuality Education (CSE), the Academic Network for Sexual and Reproductive Health and Rights Policy (ANSER), and Women in Global Health.
Women of Wearables (WoW) featured me in their list of "200 Trailblazing Leaders in Women's Health and Femtech".
I have successfully led interdisciplinary research teams with members from 5+ countries and guided 15+ master's and PhD students from diverse backgrounds. I prioritize creating an open and trustworthy environment where emotional intelligence and empathy are valued. Fostering a culture of inclusivity, respect, and constructive feedback is crucial in my approach, as it unlocks the full potential of each team member and young professionals.
"It was my first internship as an epidemiologist, and Olena was very supportive during my learning process. She went above and beyond to support my growth and learning. The four papers as an outcome of the project speaks itself for its success. "

"Olena's exceptional dedication to women's health and sexual and reproductive rights has been a source of inspiration. Although the program [Women in Global Health Mentorship] officially ended over a year ago, Olena has remained a thoughtful sparring partner and has helped me approach new opportunities with more confidence and clarity.
